Ok, so it's old hat at this point-my new works & critiques and drinking series, "Just Working On My Novel", comes every other month like clockwork, and in December it is on the 7th.. Or like a drunken clock that's also a new works and critiques series.

As usual, this is where I put a picture of Lauren Conrad. She wrote a book, so should (and so can) you.

How "Just Working On My Novel" works:

Novelist & journalist Masha Hamilton , most recently the author of the tense, gripping 31 Hours (publishing by Unbridled Books), and hip-hop icon/storyteller Jean Grae (known for her albums Attack Of The Attacking Things & This Week, as well as her work with, amongst others, Talib Kweli and 9th wonder, and who has been publishing works of short fiction on her blog), will serve as the evening's hosts, reading from works both published and unpublished and providing informal critiques to pieces presented.

READING SPOTS ARE VERY LIMITED: To sign up to read alongside Jean and Masha, an email to russ @ russcomm dot net is required.

Otherwise, you'll drink, listen, talk back when asked and otherwise have a really, really, really good time.

"Just Working On My Novel" is co-sponsored by publishing vlog QBAH2, who will be providing anarchic video content throughout the evening .Readings start at 7:30 P.M.
